Who we are

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone/WhatsApp and company.
• The documents and text you upload or paste.
• The numbers found in them: container, IMO, IBAN, SWIFT, B/L.
• Payment records.
• Your IP address and device data, used to enforce free-check limits and prevent abuse.

Why we use it

• To run the checks you request and send your results.
• To warn you, and other members, if a document is found to be fake or reused.
• To manage your subscription.
• To meet legal obligations.

Shared registry

Document numbers are converted into one-way codes before being added to the registry. Members see only that a document was used before, never whose deal it was or the document itself.

Retention

• Uploaded files are kept for up to 24 months for fraud prevention, then deleted.
• One-way registry codes may be kept longer.
• Account and payment records are kept as required by UAE law.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with:

• service providers who help us run the service (hosting, email, payments), under confidentiality;
• verifiers or banks you authorise for a specific check;
• authorities where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing trade@vtcgw.com. We reply within 30 days. Deletion may be limited where the law or fraud prevention requires us to keep a record.

Security and transfers

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with reputable cloud providers, which may be outside the UAE.

Law

This policy follows the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
